AZIZ GUEYE-GREY

• Born on a family vacation to Senegal, Monaco-native Aziz Gueye-Grey was destined to be a 'man of the world'. The son of Senegalese 'old money' and a British business magnate who had moved to Monaco to avoid all that nasty taxation bother, Aziz (quickly taking on the nickname 'Az' as he grew older), grew up in the kind of wealth people quickly become ashamed of. The best education, the most esoteric sports as hobbies, the ability to indulge their teenage son's interest in aviation and allow him to get his pilot's licence before most people got their driver's licence.
• Initially hesitant to adopt the neural implants, the Gueye-Greys very quickly fell in line shortly before the Fall, and at 18 Az watched the tragedy happen with the pacified acceptance that it was 'for the best'.
• Still, he found himself experiencing a sense of wanderlust and, asking his parents for a gap year before he began university, Az began to move from place to place, taking on new experiences and odd jobs around the world. When his year was up, he made his apologies and just kept on moving, seeing new things and new experiences.
• He began to experience mild implant failure seven years ago and when he finally decided to head into a clinic to have his implant checked, he had the good fortune to stumble into a clinic that Dislinked had been monitoring. Pulled out, he was UnVeiled, placed in a stronghold, and began the slow process of controlling himself again.
• Between his pilot experience, his skillset, and his newfound drive to do something about the alien occupation of Earth, Az was approached to join the resistance. Pushing himself through training, he distinguished himself and quickly joined the ranks of Battlest's pilot fleet, where he's been determined to be a pain in the Architests' ass ever since.
